Do you know that most of the challenges in
African Marriage today originated from women and see how.

An African mother pays more attention to her daughter's to be able to cook, clean the house, study hard so she doesn't become a liability to her husband, or learn a trade and teaches her daughter how to respect her husband, wash his clothes but fail to teach the son most of these and most importantly the command God gave to the man who chose to get married.  Which says husband love your wife. The father on the other hand pays more attention to the male child to study hard to get good grades, and get a good job or teach him some business ideas so he can look after his family, and also that his wife will not disrespect him in the future.
But in reality how many men are providing for their wives today. As Most women are gainfully employed and entrepreneurs in different fields. While the few unemployed or full-time housewives lose their respect and have no say in their matrimonial home. This is not the situation for everyone but it's becoming so common.
Having spoken to most women and being an African woman who is being married to an African man, it seems obvious that most African men have replaced the word love for financial support for their family.
Are you wondering why African marriages now face a high divorce rate in the western world more than ever. This is probably the reason behind it, because most women in this part of the world are either providing for themselves or getting some sort of support from the government. So therefore the only role most African men were relying on to show love to their wife is not vacant and there fail in marriage. Instead of looking back to see where they have failed their wive they turned around blaming their wives for all sorts. Sometimes some women might be guilty but overall the African man was not taught how to express love to their wife. Weldone to those men who have learnt how to express love from the western world, but very few percentage as the majority are deep into the African culture. The way forward is that every woman should endeavour to put as much time and effort we put on our girls preparing them for their future husband also on our male children so that both husbands and wives will be happy and enjoy their marriage because marriage is to be enjoyed and not endured. Thanks and stay blessed .
